Quantity breaks

A quantity-breaks campaign discounts a product more as a shopper buys more of it. You set up one or more levels, each with a minimum (and optionally a maximum) and a discount, and checkout applies whichever level the shopper’s cart reaches.

Each level has:

Field Meaning
Min quantity (or Min amount) What unlocks this level.
Max quantity (or Max amount) Where the level ends. Leave it blank on the top level for no upper limit.
Discount type Percentage off, Amount off per unit, or Fixed price per unit.
Value The percentage, amount, or fixed price.
Title, subtitle, badge Optional — replace the generated “Buy 2–3” wording on the widget with your own.

You can add up to 10 levels. What is being counted toward a level — a single variant, a whole product, a collection, or everything the campaign targets — is set alongside the rest of targeting, on the campaign’s Setup tab; see Targeting.

A level unlocks by quantity (units bought) or by amount spent (subtotal, before other discounts). This choice also decides which of the three modes below a level can use — graduated and pack pricing both need whole units, so they’re only available with a quantity basis.

Mode What it means
All units get the same discount A volume discount — once a shopper reaches a level, every qualifying unit gets that level’s discount.
Each unit gets its own discount Tiered pricing — cheapest units fill the lower levels first, like a tax bracket. A shopper buying 5 units against “1–3 full price, 4+ 20% off” pays full price for 3 units and 20% off the other 2.
Buy in packs The cart is split into whole packs of the size you set; each full pack gets its discount and any leftover units stay full price.

Under a campaign’s Widget tab, you choose whether the product page shows Discount only, Price per item, or Total price for the selected level, plus an optional “You save” line and a struck-through compare-at price. The per-level title, subtitle, and badge text above let you override the generated wording level by level.
