Buy X get Y
A Buy X get Y campaign rewards a shopper once they buy enough of one product (X) — with a free or discounted unit of that same product, or of a different product (Y) you choose.
Customer buys (X)
Section titled “Customer buys (X)”Each level sets a minimum for X: a Min quantity of units, or a Min amount spent, depending on the campaign’s discount basis. Optionally, add a Discount on X — a separate percent, amount, or fixed-price discount on the X units that aren’t used to unlock the reward.
Customer gets (Y)
Section titled “Customer gets (Y)”A level’s reward is one of two kinds:
| Reward kind | How it works |
|---|---|
| Same product | X itself is the reward — buying an Extra quantity of units gets those extra units free, a percentage off, or an amount off each. A fixed price isn’t available for this kind. |
| Other products | Pick up to 10 specific products or variants to reward, each with its own quantity and discount: Free, Percentage off, Amount off each, or Fixed price each. |
A campaign can have up to 10 levels. Only the highest level a shopper’s cart reaches applies — levels never combine.
When a cart qualifies more than once
Section titled “When a cart qualifies more than once”If a level rewards several products, or the cart has several qualifying lines, Nock Deals fills the reward from the cheapest eligible units first, and every product the level rewards shares the same pool of reward units — so a single unit is never discounted twice, however many ways the cart happens to qualify.
The repeat rule governs whether the reward itself repeats within one order:
| Setting | Example: “Buy 2, get 1 free” |
|---|---|
| Once per order | A customer with 4 qualifying units still only gets 1 free unit. |
| Every time the customer buys X again | 4 qualifying units get 2 free, 6 units get 3, and so on. You can cap this with a maximum number of times per order. |
The gift row on the widget
Section titled “The gift row on the widget”When a level rewards a different product, the widget can show an optional dashed row for it — above or below the level list — with the reward’s price shown as its value, a struck-through price, or hidden. The row adds the reward’s first available variant to the cart; letting the shopper choose a variant on the row itself isn’t available yet.
In the cart, the rewarded line gets its own short label (for example “Free with 2 T-shirts”) and an optional “Gift” tag next to its title.
See Targeting for who and what a campaign applies to, and Cart goals for a reward that grows with the whole cart instead of one product.
